Pollo Campero - Bellflower: Authentic Guatemalan Chicken with Fast, Friendly Service

Food was really good, just as I remember it, and the wait time virtually was none. Fast service and will definitely be going again. I'm glad I don't have to drive far to get this again.

I am thrilled to see that there's now a Pollo Campero near my house! Being from Guatemala, I find this place to be almost like a McDonald's in the Guatemalan community. In the past, they only served fried chicken, but now they also serve grilled chicken, which shows that companies need to evolve. Today, I visited the new Pollo Campero in Bellflower, which opened on September 25th. This place has a drive-thru and plenty of parking. Once inside the restaurant, it was a little busy, but the ambiance was great. I ordered their four-piece chicken with rice and beans, asking to have half fried and the other half grilled. The total amount for this meal should have been close to $18, but since I am part of their rewards program, I used $4 from their Pollo Campero app, so it cost me $13. My order took about 10 minutes to make, and I noticed they gave me fries instead of rice with my meal. I notified one of the employees of the problem, and we both laughed because we knew it was a misunderstanding since rice and fries sound alike. They gave me my rice and let me have the fries for free, which I thought was nice of them. As for the chicken, it was delicious. The batter they use is the same as the one I remember from when I used to eat Pollo Campero in Guatemala. The grilled chicken is something new, but it was also delicious because it had a hint of lime flavor. Overall, I am happy to know that this place is near my house, and I will definitely be coming back again.

Had a great experience here food was hot and came fast, nice and helpful staff, my only strife is the serving size on the sides. The chicken was big and flavorful, a slightly bigger side should come with the bigger combo of the 4pc special

I came to pollo campero on October 10th. On my birthday, it was 8:30pm. I was worried I thought I wasn’t going to make it in time to place my order. Gabriela helped me at the register :) She gave me the best service ever ! 10/10. I was so impressed with the quality of the food and the service from Gabriela !

Service was very fast, we ordered and got the food fresh and hot in less than 10 minutes. The seating area was also very clean and taken care of. The staff there was very friendly and let us take our time as it was our first time eating here.
